Boooo!!! The lemon pepper tater tots was the only food that was tasty.I ordered the rice chicken bowl which had no flavor. My husband ordered the fried devil eggs. He said they were good, but he wasn't impressed with his entree which was Salmon and rice. We both said we could have ate at home. The atmosphere was inviting with a fireplace. The service was a little slow and he brought me the wrong margarita which wasn't even strong even though we ordered top shelf. Overall this place received 2 stars out of 5.

My spouse and I tried Lazy Dog today for the first time. We're from Jackson, MS & we've come to Houston/Stafford area about 3 times. We've passed Lazy Dog every time and finally got to try it. IT WAS PHENOMENAL! Our server/bartender, Steve, was awesome. I had the regular house margarita, but ended up having a second one since the bartender informed us that it was happy hour, so they were only $5 a piece. I had a cup of the tomato soup for an appetizer & it was soooo good. My spouse and I spilt the NY Strip Steak with potatoes au gratin & instead of the roasted vegetables, we got truffle fries. They spilt the meal for us on separate plates, which made it so much easier for us. I cannot brag enough about how delicious that meal was. I haven't had such tasty truffle fries in years & the steak was cooked perfectly. Very calm atmosphere with friendly, helpful service. 10/10 would definitely recommend stopping in here. We will be back when we're back in Houston/Stafford area again!

I had an incredible first-time lunch at Lazy Dog! The atmosphere is beautiful, spotless, and the dog-themed decor is so charming. As an artist, I was absolutely enchanted by the menu the watercolor illustrations are stunning and show such attention to detail in every page. The food was a major highlight! I tried dishes I had never seen before, like the Deviled Eggs with candy bacon, which were divine the perfect mix of sweet and savory. I also tried the Lumberjack Pancake Tacos, a very curious and unique dish that I loved and highly recommend. Even the Tater Tots were perfectly crispy and delicious. Beyond the amazing flavors, I found the prices to be very fair for the quality and portion sizes provided. Even though I forgot our server's name, the service was top-notch and very welcoming. With so many creative options on the menu, I can't wait to go back. If you are looking for a clean, friendly, and visually inspiring place to eat, this is it!

Lazy Dog on the Southwest Freeway is such a cozy, welcoming spot — especially with their dog‑friendly patio. 🐾 The Hibiscus Margarita was delicious & refreshing. The Bison Burger was juicy, flavorful, & cooked perfectly. My mother ordered the Braised Beef Birria Noodles and said they were rich and full of flavor. The Free Chef’s Chips were incredible too, and such a fun surprise. If it’s your first visit, you get a FREE appetizer, and they also send you home with a coupon for a discounted appetizer or dessert on your next visit. Love that. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great experience at Lazy Dog! Jeremy was an outstanding server — friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu. The food was about 4 stars: the bison meatloaf was tasty, ribs were tender, and the umami fries were a standout. Would definitely come back!
